SME News is jubilant to once again present to you the Greater London Enterprise Awards, proudly encompassing the multitude of innovative and vibrant business industries which allows the UK’s capital city home to host one of the most diverse economic communities on earth.
NOMINATE NOWSME News is happy to announce, now in its 6th year, the annual Greater London Enterprise Awards to celebrate our capital’s finest businesses and enterprises.
With London being revered as the backbone of the UK’s economy, the small to medium size enterprises operating there are proving daily that bigger doesn’t necessarily mean better when it comes to generating new and innovative ideas.
Greater London stands out as a region that encompasses some of the nation’s highest quality and diverse services, therefore ability to grow and thrive as an SME requires a significant amount of determination.
Whilst the business world has had to navigate the UK’s taxing restrictions on travel, many forward-thinking business leaders have seized the opportunity to benefit from a new influx of localised traffic. Many Greater London SMEs and micro-businesses have used the changing circumstances to adapt and diversify their business offerings and processes, finding new ways to fill the gaps in our lifestyles as a result of national lockdowns.
As employment levels begin to recuperate from severe setbacks, the UK job market is encouragingly expanding its ranks. With digitisation now at the forefront of the way we work, industry trends are predicting a huge investment in digital processes, especially for those in the heart of the UK who lead the way in international trade.
The Greater London Enterprise Awards 2022 are judged purely on merit, in order to determine our winners, our in-house research team will carefully analyse all the information that is available both online and in the public domain. Additionally, all materials supplied by our nominees will be taken into consideration. To ensure of a level playing field, we reward parties based on their reputation, commitment, innovation, determination, and contribution to their industry.
This prestigious programme is completely free to enter and if your business is lucky enough to be named one of our winners, you will be presented to our circulation of 78,000 and promoted on our website for a minimum of 12 months. In addition, winners are welcome to choose from our competitively priced promotional packages to celebrate the good news!
With all of this in mind, if you are part of an enterprise which you feel is worthy of acknowledgement, or know of an organisation deserving of recognition, then please apply using the voting form above. If you would like further information on how you can get involved, please reach out to Awards Co-ordinator Gabrielle Ellis via the channels below.

Gabby is a dynamic and highly driven individual with a keen focus on customer care and customer service. Before joining AI Global Media, the digital media group behind SME News, Gabby worked in key account management roles working closely with clients to ensure a quality service. Winners of SME News Awards are in great hands having Gabby, who will work tirelessly to ensure that each award nominee and winner is supported throughout the process and that winners are able to gain some great publicity for their win.
The SME News team work ardently to identify market leaders, innovators and enterprising start-ups, driving many of the nominations themselves.
We also encourage external nominations via the SME News subscribers, online visitors, social media followers, clients and wider circulation.
Nominating parties are invited to put forward either third-party businesses whom they hold in high regard, or their own organisation.
All nominees are formally requested to accept their nomination. Should any firm or individual rather decline at this point, they are simply taken out of the running.
Those formally accepting are given the opportunity to submit additional materials in support of their nomination. Although there is no obligation to complete and supply material, we have found that many nominees value this stage, in the process, as much as our research team do.
Our dedicated research team will assess all information presented to them.
The team gather information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources, which are assessed alongside any material supplied by a nominating party or the nominee themselves.
The research team casts their final judgment, based on various criteria including: client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, customer feedback and business performance.
Once winners are determined, they are personally notified before any public announcement is made, allowing time for any communications throughout the wider business and the coordination of marketing strategies.
Unfortunately, not everyone can be a winner; however, all who take part are encouraged to come back next year.
Once the press embargo is lifted, details of our SME award winners will be made public via the website, award winners’ magazine and subscriber newsletter.
We are prepared to offer a range of promotional packages and items to SME award winners, which vary from inclusion in the free-of-charge winners’ directory, to trophies, content in our magazine and on our website.
We encourage all winners to publicly announce their win independently. Announcements via company websites, social media, via publicly released press releases, and through local and national press are all great ways of maximising the exposure which can be gained from such an amazing achievement. If you have need of further advice, on how to gain maximum exposure from your win, please feel free to get in touch. We are happy to assist our clients with their needs.
Our featured winners are included in our celebratory awards magazine, published online and circulated to the circulation of SME News. All winners are included in our winners directory. Once a year's winners have been announced the full list of winners for that year will be available to view by clicking on the equivalent button displayed below.
