Region’s Leading Restaurant & Bar 2018 Under new ownership since March 2016, the Loft boasts 46 covers inside and another 24 covers on the roof terrace, which overlooks the scenic River Garry and stunning moorland hills. With its turret, oak beams and stone walls, the eclectic decor the Loft Restaurant makes an unusual and atmospheric dining opportunity, whether guests are looking for a snack or full meal. During the day the Loft it is popular meeting place for visitors. Located in Blair Atholl, at the entrance to the River Tilt Holiday Park, and above the Steading’s Spa pool and Gym complex only six miles north of Pitlochry and just over 30 miles from Perth, this stunning restaurant is both secluded and easily accessible. Everyone who ventures here is guaranteed a warm welcome and a great dining experience from the Loft’s dedicated team. They pride themselves on cooking good honest homely food in a laid back and friendly environment, using local Scottish produce. Every dish is designed by Head Chef Adrian Musat and prepared to make most of the abundance of fresh locally sourced ingredients. There is something for everyone at the Loft, as the team believe that every customer deserves tasty food no matter what dietary restriction they may have, and as such the menu is flexible and accommodating at all times. There are separate lunch time and dinner evening menus, and both menus use fresh local Scottish ingredients. Menus are refreshing and appealing to all categories of customers, and in addition the Loft do also daily specials displayed on a Specials Board. Events such as Steak and Grill Night every Thursday and Sunday Roast served every Sunday from 12pm to 3pm are served alongside the regular menu, offering diners choice and unique dining experiences. As an inclusive eatery committed to welcoming every guest with open arms, the Loft also welcome families, with a separate children’s menu. All of the restaurant’s front of house team, headed by my ever-smiling wife Nicolleta, regularly taste items from the menu especially new dishes and specials. This ensures that the staff have the knowledge of all of the dishes and can recommend and explain every item on the menu. The staff are extremely friendly and courteous and are trained to provide a good all-round customer service and have received many complements from visitors. With five languages spoken, including Italian, Spanish, French, German and English, everyone is welcome at this friendly establishment.
