With 28 years of experience in the field, he has held various positions in different healthcare organisations including the Princess Royal University Hospital and Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust. Dr. Johan Du Plessis has evolved his leadership over many years of supporting and empowering others. Dr. Johan Du Plessis says, “To my mind, the ability to reflect on and learn from my own career pathway has enabled me to develop my own leadership style. For instance, it has given me a passion for continuous improvement, and over the years I have supported the professional development of healthcare practitioners and provided training and supervision to nurse practitioners, paramedics, and allied professionals, assisting them in expanding their roles and skills.
