As a company, Finsen Tech has over four decades of collective experience and expertise in the medical device, infection control and hospital sterilisation spaces, and was formed following extensive years of research and development into the most cost-effective delivery systems of UVC disinfection application.” Finsen Tech has been operating in the UVC disinfection field for many years and has been very successful to date. However, in recent times the firm has been able to distinguish itself from other competitors, largely due to its unique range of products as Annette explains further. “Since the onset of COVID-19, we have seen a notable increase in our devices being introduced in new sectors, including offices, hotels, restaurants, gyms, manufacturing, logistics, schools, nursing homes and factories. The development of THOR UVC® (a total room disinfection system which can rapidly clean a space in minutes, including COVID-19) reduces and eliminates shadows and it has an integrated room content scan, to ensure that each cycle delivered is effective and validated. Additionally, HYPERION is a large UVC chamber which can rapidly disinfect anything, from medical equipment to electronic devices and it does this in 60 seconds. However, with systems immediately available we were able to assist in the terminal cleaning of ambulances, who were transporting COVID-19 patients within the London catchment area.
