Its clients include both scaffolding companies and businesses requiring working at height, as well as independent DIYers as the system is so easy to erect, meaning that the client base is wide and varied. “The main goals and mission of the company is to make the working at height market safer for both the user, as well as pedestrians and vehicles, plus to save the users time and money from the time to erect the Airdecks to transporting the Airdecks system from job to job to the storage of the Airdecks system,” explains Managing Director Craig Smith. “The Airdecks system is a more environmentally friendly product as it doesn’t require as much raw materials for fabrication to achieve the same goals as scaffolding. The firm’s competitors in the market are scaffolding companies and hydraulic lift companies, however both of these have higher costs attached to them. Soaring prices is one of the trends within the industry that Craig has noticed emerging of late. The Airdecks system, through discussions with its fabricator, has been able to maintain its price which makes it even more competitive, and attractive, in the current market. The innovative Airdecks system was initially developed to allow working at height on a safe and fully certificated platform which would accept the minimum safe working load (SWL) of 250kg.
