If 2020 was a year that tested the capabilities of business around the United Kingdom, then 2021 will surely be a test of their bouncebackability. The first few months of the year has already brought with it much hope that life is beginning to return to normal, and the next few weeks are set to see the return of non-essential shopping and many retailers on the high street. Challenging times still lay ahead, but there is plenty to look forward. As we celebrate how the year has started over the past three months, there is a bumper crop of British business success, as well as numerous stories of enterprises overcoming adversity.
For example, we are proud at SME News to celebrate the success of small businesses such as Brixly, which has recognised a nationwide need for businesses to have their own outstanding website and online presence. Under the guidance of Dennis Nind, Brixly had grown to become the Best Independent Web Hosting Brand 2020 in the Midlands Enterprise Awards last year, and that success has carried through to 2021.
