Best Literature Festival 2018

Author talks, performance poetry, creative writing workshops, a free family day, multi-arts events and LGBTQ+ events – the Huddersfield Literature Festival offers all of this and more.

An annual Festival taking place every March in venues across the town, the Festival is rooted in the local community and has a USP of inclusivity – with accessible venues, some subtitled events and a balanced programme of performers from a variety of backgrounds.

Recent guests have included Sir Patrick Stewart, Lemn Sissay, Joanne Harris, Ian Rankin, Irvine Welsh and Dame Jenni Murray.

The 2019 Festival will take place from 21-31 March.
