Spitalfields City Farm is a hidden oasis less than a mile from the City of London where visitors can freely enjoy the company of friendly sheep, goats, poultry and other animals, a novel experience on their urban doorstep.
The farm residents have a great educational purpose. By getting up close and personal with the animals, visitors gain an increased awareness of the value and importance of our native farm animals. Many people also begin to make connections between food, farming, and the sentient creatures on which we depend.
