Vaping shouldn’t become just a habit and we want our customers to enjoy the moment they take to our products, to savour every distinct layer of each flavour profile and to relish the beautiful scents that fill the air. “All eJuice and concentrates are produced with the utmost care and attention, and to complement them we’ve sourced the best PG/VG and nicotine products to work with. However, it doesn’t end with our products as we also care deeply about the people and culture that surrounds the vape world. “With all our customers and the members of the Redemption Vape Facebook group, we stay in touch to get their honest opinions about our products. Customer service and satisfaction are central to our business model. Far beyond just selling a product or service, we take the time to get to know our customers and their needs. This helps us to understand what advice and products are best for that individual.” Unlike others in its field, Redemption Vape both manufacture and sell eCigarette products. Moreover, as Steve goes on to explain, this is arguably what differentiates the firm from some of its closest competitors. “Predominantly, we are a manufacturing company. However, through our large retail outlet we are able to service the local community with our products. Redemption branded products are developed by us in our in-house ISO7 rated clean room. Most vape shops buy in their products, but when we decided to open a retail store, we focused on selling eJuice manufactured by us. Together, we always knew we could manufacture a premium eJuice that could compete with the much larger and established brands, so much so we have a wide network of shops that we wholesale and distribute our products to internationally.” Regarding the internal culture in place at Redemption Vape, it is clear training has played a key role in the firm’s success with staff members developing the skills needed to provide an outstanding service as Steve explains further. “Through weekly team meetings and continuous training, all of our operatives are trained in both retail customer service and some lab duties.” In recruitment terms, experience is something which can be developed over time and as Steve points out, the firm’s process focuses on a candidate’s personality. “If we interview anyone else in the future it will be all about the personality of that candidate. I would rather train someone with little experience who’s personality shines through.” The outbreak of COVID-19 this year has presented many challenges to businesses across the globe, but after acting swiftly Redemption Vape were able to thrive early on in the pandemic as Steve explains further. “Initially COVID-19 was a big worry for us as it came at a critical point of our business. However, we were already online, so that generated a fast and big growth. Additionally, as a manufacturer we were allowed to continue trading behind closed doors. “The day after lockdown we launched a free homedelivery service because other shops were either closed , charging for delivery or had a minimum spend charge. As a result, we flourished with customers needing the service. Those customers have stayed with us, so the long-term payback was good.” Bringing the interview to a close, Steve signs off by commenting on the future prospects of Redemption Vape as we look ahead to beginning of 2021 and beyond. “The business is looking to expand into the much wider export market, both in the EU and worldwide. With the shop next door, we will be converting this into a coffee bar.
