As such, we are planning an entire year’s worth of celebrations in which we commemorate those who have worked so hard to support our animals and communities. “Additionally, to enhance our revenue streams in a challenging climate, we are due to open our second charity shop in Keswick soon, which will help us to provide our services even further afield, and allow us to offer more help and advice with the tourist and farming industries. We are also fundraising to develop our equine intake facilities to enable us to meet the demand for our support from our equine community. We currently have only one intake stable but need to create a further four places to help the many horses and ponies that need us. Our target to complete the project is £25,000 and we are working hard to achieve this. “Ultimately, all these developments will allow Oak Tree the chance to enhance its service and continue helping animals across the North West for many years to come.”
