Graham Davidson and Craig Handley launched their company in April 2019, inspired by their mutual passion for cars. Graham has always been a car enthusiast, having previously bought a 675LT, P1, and V12 Vantage S from Craig. The duo began conversations about bringing an independent car dealership to Aberdeenshire in the North East of Scotland. Although the region has limited representation from big brands such as Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, and others, there are a countless number of avid collectors and enthusiasts who have rejoiced in the services that The Auto Lounge provides. For over a decade, Craig Handley has immersed himself in the world of sports and super cars. He built his clientele by offering services in photography, videography, and social media marketing to private and commercial automotive customers, including Lamborghini. During this time, Craig also ran a successful motoring channel on YouTube and became a cofounder of GT Scotland, a social media provider dedicated to providing the latest automotive news and events in Scotland. Having previously worked with Bentley Glasgow, McLaren, and Aston Martin Edinburgh, Craig utilised his expertise to found The Auto Lounge alongside Graham. With their combined automotive knowledge, Craig and Graham continue to propel The Auto Lounge to new heights and pride themselves on providing a first-class customer experience. Graham is also fuelled by his passion for GT racing. Starting as a track-day regular, Graham has quickly become a successful racing driver. His journey began at Knockhill with him driving a TVR and Noble road cars before moving on to racing in 2013. In 2019, he became the overall GT Champion with TF Sport and Aston Martin Racing alongside his teammate Jonny Adam. Graham is now a member of the British Racing Drivers’ Club and continues to race in the British GT Championship. His experience as a car enthusiast and racer continues to inform Graham’s understanding of high performance cars. With their in-depth knowledge of car ownership and vehicle performance, Graham and Craig are perfectly positioned to understand the expectations of buyers, sellers, and collectors alike. It is The Auto Lounge’s objective to provide customers with a memorable experience when accessing its services. Located in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, the new bespoke showroom is the ideal setting to view its stunning selection of extraordinary vehicles. The business operates on an appointment basis to ensure that clients receive undivided attention during their visit. In the comfortable environment of the showroom, clients are encouraged to ask questions and take ample time to consider the purchase. Prior to collection or delivery, all cars receive a full valet, including machine polish. The Auto Lounge is also a member of the SMTA (Scottish Motor Trade Association) and offers a range of additional products and services, such as vehicle trackers. With a new state-of-art workshop recently installed, fully equipped with two ramps and tooling, The Auto Lounge is able to service all of the luxury marques. It has also just welcomed David Reid, who is a seasoned technician with 17 years’ experience in the luxury and performance car sector. David has been an Audi RS/R8 Specialist Technician and, latterly, a Porsche OPC Technician working on all kinds of Porsches – from classics right through to the new 992 GT product and Taycan EV. At The Auto Lounge, focus is placed on providing a bespoke, transparent experience for clients buying, selling, or sourcing their luxury or performance vehicles. This year has seen the business expand with a new boutique showroom that creates the ideal space for clients to explore the company’s array of striking vehicles.
