So, he packed his suitcase and headed to Ningbo, China to see his friends at Lehui, the world’s second largest brewing equipment manufacturer. Following this visit, SSV formed a partnership with Lehui and became its European agent. Now, Sam has a team of professional brewers behind him who are instrumental in the development and implementation of equipment to ensure his company is able to offer the latest advancements in brewing technology and as a result, enable customers to achieve greater flexibility and efficiency from their equipment. This is all supported by SSV’s Europe-based design, projects, and aftersales teams. Sam has truly been able to recruit some of the best brewing talent in the world. SSV’s customers are predominantly independent craft breweries that cater to their local, domestic markets. Due to the rise in popularity of craft beer across Europe, with the UK at the forefront, SSV helps its customers to expand their production volumes while also enabling them to grow their products to meet the demands of both the national, and in some cases, international markets. However, during the pandemic, there was a shift in how consumers were accessing their food and drink due to many on-trade venues having to close down due to lockdown restrictions.
