With his unique insight into this industry, Gareth leads his team with pride and expertise, and oversees all departments from operations to sales and development. FireRite comprises of four main divisions, these being: Consultancy, Active, Passive and Maintenance of fire safety, from plan stage inception to the buildings complete fire lifecycle. It’s proactive staff base, with their knowledge of fire safety legislation, enables a structured approach to fire safety compliance with technical knowledgeable employees and supporting software to enable a level of unapparelled service in this field. Gareth believes that FireRite will see a major overhaul of fire safety in the UK and he wants to be at the forefront of this change. Gareth himself sits on the committee of the Fire and Security Association (FSA) as the lead for Wales, a role which involves reporting and advising on pending regulations within the Fire industry and advising and informing Electrical Contractors Association (ECA) members in Wales, something of which he is immensely proud. “We are proud of our Welsh routes and want to change the landscape of fire safety with a positive impact, having a devolved local Government that is proactive in implementing change in the fire safety industry (such as the sprinkler measure 2016) is a major plus for the principality.” FireRite is also working with its local Government body on competency criteria, training initiatives with major forces in Wales (such as the NHS, Local Authority, and Social Housing) to provide higher standards in Life Safety Services. “We have a seen major success within the social housing sector as they turn to FireRite for their fire safety compliance.
