Northern Enterprise Awards 2022

Northern Enterprise Awards 2022 | 79 Nov22016 Best PR Agency – Merseyside Launched in January 2018, Tuesday Media is a story-led PR, marketing and communications agency. We find out more about what makes the enthusiastic team of experts tick from Founder, Sophie Wilson, as the firm is recognised in the Northern Enterprise Awards 2022. With a varied client base of ‘positive change makers’ who are making a difference by solving some of society’s big challenges with their products and services, Tuesday Media offers PR and media relations, content marketing, organic and paid social media, and digital PR. “Inspired by Plato’s mantra “those who tell stories rule the world”, we help our clients tell powerful stories that achieve their goals,” enthuses Sophie Wilson, the firm’s Founder and CEO. “Our mission is to tell the stories of positive changemakers in Liverpool and beyond.” The firm’s core values centre around the three P’s, these being personal, positive, and passionate. Everything Tuesday Media does for its clients is bespoke, putting their individual goals at the heart of each strategy. “Me and my team build strong relationships with all our clients to intimately understand them and get under the skin of their stories,” continues Sophie. “Armed with this depth of knowledge, we can be their best advocates.” Tuesday Media likes to work with clients who are making a difference in the world or the environment that they’re operating in. The team always takes a positive outlook, approaching their work with curiosity and creativity, and being solutions-oriented and constructive, tackling challenges with trademark tenacity that delivers results every time. “We feel strongly about what each of our clients are trying to achieve. We are a collective of valuesdriven individuals who are excited about the team we’re building aboard the Good Ship Tuesday!” Whilst these core values haven’t changed since the agency was incepted nearly five years ago, its business model has. Initially, it pioneered the ‘networked agency’ model, empowering top freelance talent to work remotely, on clientspecific projects. Post-pandemic, and after Sophie overcame a lengthy battle with long Covid, Tuesday Media has established a new base in the northwest, evolved away from its previous model and is now focused on building and growing its employee team. “We always start with story,” states Sophie, taking us through the client journey and pinpointing exactly how the agency differentiates from competitors in this fierce industry. “We work with values-aligned clients who want to go on a journey to understand their purpose, or their ‘why’ and articulate it.” Currently, post pandemic, brands need to be able to engage with this question and Tuesday Media’s unique process, which always starts with our trademark Storybuilding Workshop, is specifically designed to elicit and articulate this ‘why’. “We know that our clients find so much value in our approach - having facilitated workshops where tears have been shed and ‘light bulb moments’ attained as clients get closer to uncovering their reason for being.” Prior to founding Tuesday, Sophie Wilson spent roughly half of her life client-side in Sales & Marketing Director roles, which meant that she has insight into clients’ needs, not least for PR and marketing to deliver results and ROI. She then went on to cut her teeth agency-side, working with the former editor of the world’s bestselling newspaper, alongside Fleet Street journalists. Sophie has personally led and coordinated two very high-profile media cases: an international missing persons campaigns and a national missing persons’ campaign. She coordinated media strategy, took the role of media spokesperson took hundreds of live media appearances on Good Morning Britain, BBC, Sky and ITV News (TV and radio) and worked with both the fast-paced unravelling media agenda and the families of the victims. Sophie was a key part of a group of individuals that raised the awareness of long Covid, writing about her own experiences and making a film for Huffington Post, a radio documentary for the BBC and featuring in many media outlets, including Women’s Health, Metro, as well as radio appearances on the BBC. “This combination of client insight, as well as journalistic contacts and the instinct for how to write a good headline, really helps Tuesday to stand out from its competitors,” she states. “Since our relocation to Liverpool, which has reshaped our team, we have grown significantly, with clients in both the northwest and southeast on long-term retainer, as well as several exciting projects. “There are so many benefits to being up north! It is a good life and the cost of living is low compared to London or the South East. The business community in Liverpool is friendly and positive, with a scouse entrepreneurial ‘can-do’ attitude.” Nearly five years in business has seen Tuesday Media gain the attention of the industry press and be shortlisted for two ‘New Agency of the Year’ industry awards and now, the SME News’ Northern Enterprise Award for Best PR Agency in Merseyside. But it seems the best is yet to come! “The most exciting milestone that is on the horizon is our fifth birthday, which is coming up in January 2023. We have a whole raft of campaigns planned throughout the year to celebrate, one of which is launching a podcast about the positive changemakers who are shaping Liverpool today. Watch this space!” Contact Details Contact: Sophie Wilson Company: Tuesday Media Web Address: www.tuesday-media.com
