When booking in with Katie, she will take every detail she needs to effectively plan the route of the customer’s motorcycle(s). She will then contact the seller/buyer/shop and liaise with them regarding dates, timings and locations to make sure the transport is as smooth as possible for all involved. Every motorcycle collected will be thoroughly checked over by Mitch for marks/scuffs/leaks/ damage etc. to be listed on an inspection sheet, both on collection and delivery. If there is something specific the customer would like Mitch to check for, they should notify Katie when booking and he’ll make sure he checks and provides an update. Every customer will receive a customised printed invoice, inspection sheet, receipt and copy of the company’s terms and conditions. It is important that the customer makes sure that whomever they choose to transport their pride and joy that the courier has insurance. Bikehaul-UK has the necessary insurances – tailored courier insurance with specifics to what it does, goods in transit insurance of up to £50k per motorcycle, and public liability of £1m. The company can provide these documents for viewing as required, however it cannot send copies out to customers due to data protection.
