Best Country Pub 2018 – Dorset

A multi-award winning 17th century, thatched freehouse situated in the heart of chocolate-box Dorset. Renowned for its local, homemade food, the pub’s menu sources all of its meat from The Langton Arms Butchery in the neighbouring village of Tarrant Rawston. Reached by way of an old ford, the pub specialises in weddings & functions and also holds a civil wedding licence. It has been owned & managed by the same landlady, Barbara Cossins, for more than 25 years. Six cosy B&B rooms complete the picture. A weekend of country walks, real ale, newspapers & wellies is calling!
