Graft Poetry

Graft Poetry is a small business publishing poetry books by new poets. It was set up in 2008 by Nicholas Bielby initially to publish poets whom Nicholas, then editor of Pennine Platform poetry magazine, thought deserved book publication after having established themselves in the world of poetry magazines. While many of the poets are from the North, Graft has a national and an international reach. Best sellers include Julia Deakin’s Without a dog and Sarah Watkinson’s Photovoltaic. All the books have intellectual as well as poetic clout: they are books to be read and re-read.
