Adapt Ability realises the collective voice of previously marginalised groups (such as disabled people) has never been so influential. The manner in which disabled people can communicate with each other is far more accessible now too. The COVID-19 pandemic created a new way of working, with much of it done remotely. This opened doors for disabled people, and increased the demand and purchase power of this group. Such factors proffer a great opportunity for Adapt Ability to show what it has to offer, as well as welcoming in the demand from potential customers who want more, and will openly discuss their opinions, and happily share their product experiences. Adapt Ability is delighted about the ease of communication in today’s world, but it never assumes it is simple to reach potential customers, let alone to turn messages into leads that end in sales. That said, however, it has been fortunate to develop several initiatives over the previous year that have enabled it to operate more efficiently, and expertly handle customer enquiries using the all-important personal touch. It has also developed a greater understanding of marketing, planning, and the importance of the experiential aspect in finding effective ways to reach its target audience. The internal culture at Adapt Ability isn’t set in stone, but it does focus intently on valuing great customer service. Its more immediate plans involve an imminent merge with its business partner to create a brand which will be known as AddaptX. Under this name, manufacturing will be centralised in the UK, with vertical integration.
